Anorexic Recovery - Is Binge Eating Normal During Recovery?

by sarah

I'm an anorexic in recovery and treatment. I've been in treatment for the past 2 months.

For approximately 3 weeks now I have been non-stop eating and craving random food. When I start eating, I can't seem to stop. I just move on to the next meal or snack around me.

I was wondering if this is normal -- not being able to stop eating, as well as not having the feeling of being statisfied or even close to being full.

Does it continue that way for long? Will it stop? I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself. I cant seem to control my eating or constant cravings.

Example of a typical day breakfast:

2 peanut butter sandwiches with 2 fruits yogurt.

Then I get hungry an hour later and start binge eating random stuff from chocolates to cakes to fruits, bread, sandwiches salad until lunch time.

I eat lunch and the cravings happen again...

I really need some advice and help regarding the binge eating situation. I'm under 100 pounds and 5.6 ft tall.
