Male anorexia is a deadly illness with serious medical complications. However, it's not something that the average person thinks of when they hear the term, "anorexia nervosa".

Typically what people envision (myself included) is an emaciated anorexic girl.

But this is not always the case. Males can have anorexia too.

More attention needs to be paid to males with eating disorders, and more research is needed in order to help us understand the complexities that are unique to men.

That's why I've dedicated this page to all of you guys out there who wish to be heard, have questions, and/or would like to share your experiences.
