Going to inpatient eating disorder treatment, can be a very overwhelming experience -and the whole process can happen very quickly.
One minute you're at home, and the next thing you know you're facing a bunch of strangers who are going to be your roommates for the next several weeks, or months.
If you're considering sharing your story, but aren't quite sure what to say, here are a couple of ideas that might help get you going:
Have you already been to treatment? What kind of support system to do you have now that you're home?
What was eating disorders inpatient treatment like for you? Did you settle in fairly quickly?
Do you know that you have to go for treatment? What are some of your concerns, fears, goals?
